it didn't matter in the season where the leafs played....the refs were against them...one game in the first 10 minutes 5 leaf players got high sticked...and they called the fifth one...and by the replays of the 5 highsticks...3 seemed like they were directly infront of a ref.

i have lost a ton of respect for that entire organization watching the last 5 minutes of that game. it was a deliberate meditated attack on franzen by bringing in some bitch ass back up for 15 seconds. then you have iginla slashing the shit out of people. its one thing to stir up shit its another to deliberately attempt to injure players with dirty hits and stick work in a game that is out of your grasp of victory.

A lot of the actions taken by Calgary players today was unacceptable, but I don't blame them for what happened.

The refs were totally unable to keep control of this game because they did not make any of the calls and the players took this into their own hands.
