now you're getting into the technicalities. i have many different friends, who all define hardcore as something different. if you ask me, i define hardcore as bands like Alexisonfire, Underoath, FBTMOF, Fall of Troy, etc.

My other friend defines hardcore as hardcore metal, like what KTOG posted.

And another friend says hardcore is hardcore punk, like Bad Brains and Misfits, or whatever.

So you really cant say what REAL hardcore is. and yes, Fear Before the March of Flames is MAINLY screamo, but they are hardcore.
