Taken from ign regarding performance and graphics settings.
[quote:c5cb9]How is the perfomance when settings/resolution is maxed? What are the specs on the computer you're running it on? What resolution are you playing it on and how does it run? Hey can you mention the specs of the machine you were playing it on, and what res you were using? These are approximations, but based on the various systems we've played it on: 1.8GHz, 64MB video RAM, 512k RAM - 1024x768, low details (still looks good, btw) 2GHz, 128MB video RAM, 1GB RAM - 1280 x 960, medium details 3GHz, 256MB video RAM, 1GB RAM - everything maxed (the videos you're seeing)[/quote:c5cb9] |

Think it'll call for an AGP card, like BF:V did, or since the intro of PCIE, it'll just want a type of card?
I'm struggling to get Quake 4... Im looking more forward to that, but if not, I'll see you guys on the servers around August. |
Good videos gerV. I am disapointed by one thing that I heard...the victory music.
|
It needs a direct x 9 compatible card, so you're talking radeon 9500\9800, geforce 5800 or better.
Second vids 12 mins long and looks pretty good so far. happy: |
Commander mode looked very newbie friendly, but I still don't understand...is there a timer on Artillery and other functions?

Artillery has to charge so you cant repeatedly spam it, then when you do click where you wnt it to land it takes around 8 seconds to hit, and obviously its not pin point accurate either. As far as i know all the items the commander can use are physically present in your main base, artillery cannons, radar etc so the enemy can go into your base and disable them so you wont have access to them. So base defence plays more of a role instead of all out attack. |

I like the sound of that. Parachuting behind enemy lines with some satchel charges finally has a point to it. I'm curious about how long the artillery, etc can be disabled for. Guess until an engineer repairs them? |
Probably be like the airstrip towers in bf:nam. Once you lose them theyre gone for the round so theres a point to having to defend them.
