canadians lose all medals because of tampering

i think every olympics have to be tampered with now with canadian currency and symbolism since there was the loonie at center ice in salt lake in the hockey rink.

2002 = men and women gold medal in hockey
2006 = a shit load of skating medals

is this the most medals canada has won in an olympics. They won a ton.

yeah. in salt lake we won 17 medals and that was the highest until now. Right now were at 24 and in third 1 behind the US so I think that's pretty good. The canadian olympic guys said that they wanted to get third place this time around and to do that we would need to get 25 medals. I think our athletes did a great job. All the athletes did an awesome job. Must be so hard to get there, all the time and effort and money dedicated to getting there.

I'm not sure about other places in the world but in Canada our athletes don't get much in the way of funds from the government. I mean training for the olympics is pretty much a full time job and yet most people have to have a full time job to pay the bills and just scratch by to make it to the olympics.

I'm really happy for all the athletes and I think third place is great.

I saw him interviewed after that and he said when he realized his skiis came off he thought he should just try to do his routine anyway without skiis and then land on his butt so it wouldn't hurt as much. happy:
