Also, for anyone over there that watches Jimmy Kimmel Live, make sure you tune into the show tonight after Lost (I believe it's on after Lost) because "Hugh McIntyre", one of the Hanso Foundation Executives, is going to be on it. I'm sure he'll have some clues relating to the 'Lost Experience'.[/quote:9b7be]

I tried to stay away from this topic, but now is all good since I just saw it.

I'm horrible w/ names so just deal w/ me.

The guy in the boat. The Jap mention something that it would take 2 skill sailors to navigate that. So when the guy first came to the island, did he have a parter? Cause otherwise he should have easily hit land somewhere else. Perhaps the electromagnetism thing screwd up his compass, making it obsolete. But he could still be smart and follow the sun and stars.
And maybe he crashed because the other guy was burring his partner. Cause he mention something about the time.

Whats the deal w/ the others. Who are they???? They were pretty calm about the explotion. And confident that 'Blacky w/ son' would not be able to find this place if he were to come back.

Do you think the new electromagnetism wave could have brought new people to the island.

And a complete shocker was the end when that chick was looking for her ex.

Nope. Desmond was sailing around the world on his own.
No-one knows yet.
They were pretty calm about the explotion. [/quote:88cd1]

They might have experienced it before. Also, we don't know that it was an explosion as such, but we're supposed to think that it was.
And confident that 'Blacky w/ son' would not be able to find this place if he were to come back.[/quote:88cd1]

Michael and Walt wouldn't know how to get back to the island if the island is cloaked in some way, and invisible to all except those who know about it and know how to get to it.
Do you think the new electromagnetism wave could have brought new people to the island.[/quote:88cd1]

I hope not. hake: There are too many characters as it is.

He didn't leave any clues did he? The only thing I found odd was that he mention someone was hacking his website. SO I checked for clues, and wasn't sure what to look for.

And about the explotion, thanks for adding that it might not be an explotion, cause we could see more of Desmond, the old guy and the priest.

Oh man -

On our local am drive-time radio, they were discussing lost and they brought on this "expert" to talk about it, and he tells the audience what the "button" basically does:

"Everytime the button isnt pushed, a portion of the world gets destroyed. When this happens, tectonic plates shift, and large amounts of EM fields are produced. So, when DESMOND comes back and says that hes been gone for two weeks, thats two weeks that the button wasnt pushed - and because he says "theres nothing left" thats how we know the button removes pieces of the world."

I was sitting there thinking - are we watching the same fucking show. . .Jesus.

"The Jap" - "Blacky/w Son" - would it have been so difficult to fucking find the names of these three characters instead of dropping this shit?

Producers of ABC's hit series Lost, which aired its surprising second-season finale on May 24, told SCI FI Wire that it sets up the upcoming third season, which will focus more on romance—and on the mysterious Others. "The Others are an important part of season three, and there's a lot of mysteries and a lot of questions about the Others that the audience is going to be curious about going into season three," said executive producer Carlton Cuse in an interview. "And those are the things we're going to explore."[/quote:b8e41]

So acording to this guy, complete continents are being destroyed 'pieces' at a time? If that was so, I would think the guys in the north/south polar station would be talking more about that than playing chess.

I know their names I was just trying to be racially funny. I guess it didn't work.

[quote:a8fdf]Charles Widmore, or maybe Widmore Labs (or some company or conglomerate owned and/or run by Charles Widmore), supports the experiments run on the island by the Dharma Initiative. Charles Widmore sponsored the race around the world so as to get Desmond to end up on the island, maybe to get Desmond permanently away from Penelope. (Or, the race around the world might be a scam, a trap to get sailors to end up on the island to become part of the experiments). Penelope, knowing this, and knowing that the experiments involve electromagnetic disturbances, has people (at least the two Portuguese-speaking men at the final scene) on the look-out for electromagnetic disturbances which may help her find Desmond (she still has a picture of him by her bed).[/quote:a8fdf]

is what i am reckoning as the guy that plays him is the dude from the OC and old vice president from older 24 series, and seems too much like a high profile actor to play a small part, but rather a huge part.

It also revealed that in season three we'll find out....

about Kate's Marriage

about Jack's tattoo

and about why Locke was in the wheelchair

It's related to the Alternate Reality Game, the Hanso site getting shut down was the end of Act 1 of said game.

Remember Penelope Widmore, Desmond's ex-fiance? The name 'Widmore' is on Sun's pregnancy test rock:

Zoner 10-02-2006 02:33 PM

Wow...no shit, huh? Very cool.

rock:

Zoner 10-02-2006 02:35 PM

More on Widmore:

Widmore Construction has been in a flashback, where Drive Shaft is filming their videoclip near Battersea Power Station, which has a Widmore Construction banner hanging from one of the building's walls.

Widmore Labs is known to be the maker of a pregnancy test kit. Widmore Labs has also sponsored or manufactured the balloon of the real Henry Gale.

Blase 10-02-2006 04:14 PM

If any of you were part of the Lost Experience alternate reality game, Widmore was a central part of the book Bad Twin. Apparently they were heavily involved with the Hanso Foundation.
