You usually watch a movie once, then never see it again for years. Some people watch it twice if they really like it. It just doesnt warrant a $15 dollar purchase for every movie that comes out.

What I really mean is DVD collectors, though.

Well what if you want a friend to see it, or watch it maybe a month down the road? Its a moot point to even argue that.

Then invite your friend the same time you see it, or tell your friend to see it, or just give him the copy before rent expires and tell him to return it after he's done.
