Of course it is.

Man, with your knowledge why don't you work for the government?

"Mr President, we have a situation... Europe is planning a mass combined invasion on America!"

"Gee wiz, son! Best bring the Ultimate Warrior out of retirement! He'll whoop ass, baby!"

"But, Mr President..."

"No, I won't hear it! I think we'll take out that funny little place first.. Great Britain, isn't it? Ok, ask Britain if they'll go first, then we can let Germany and France attack. Those French aren't up to much, they don't even shave their under-arms!"

"Sir, they're hardly going to..."

"That's enough from you, boy! Hell, why don't you go and start setting up the queue lanes, make sure to get plenty of "If you're not this tall..." signs for those short-asses... We don't want them attacking us until the end."

I'm sorry, but if Europe had to join forces to invade any country each and every faction within the EU has its own able strategies. Even if they refused to work alongside eachother (and, er, by coming to the conclusion to attack the most powerful nation on the planet, I think somehow that they would already have "worked well together") then they could still individually attack America and still over-whelm them by numbers.

But, your idea that they would take it in turns to attack is ludicrous. You've watched too many Rambo movies.

Remember this: There are what... 250 million people in America? By the time the war got as far as drafting in civilians America would be down to drafting women, children and old age pensioners when Europe would still have millions and millions of able-bodied young men ready for basic training.

And if anyone here believes a war between America and Russia, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg, Denmark, Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Cyprus, San Marino and Switzerland without it going as far as drafting in civilians has definitely watched too many Rambo movies.

Your idea that Europe would take it in turns to attack, or would not defend as a unit is a prime example of the foolish, self-important isolationistic attitude that Americans are infamous for.

Of course Europe wouldn't work together... Those Europeans are a lesser species, aren't they? They couldn't work their way out of a paper bag without the help of us Americans...

Yup....we are so helpless over here :(

All that has to be done is send in Special Forces (American) and Tie our shoes togehter so that we would tripp and fall and die. Tada......by doing that you would have killed like 50% of the Euopean Populus oOo: and the war would have been won. biggrin: cool:

You did not completely understand or read Ydiss's post.

With regards to USA & Brit/Canada?Australia vs China, just look at how NATO got its ass owned in the Korean war.

SHI-KA-GO[/quote:c66e6]

NATO got owned? oOo:[/quote:c66e6]

Yes

[quote:c66e6]korea was a draw[/quote:c66e6]

Perhaps, but the chinks did push NATO right back to the 37th parallel or whatever the hell it is. So technically NATO did get owned by the rice throwing commies.

Russia & Europe.

I heard that Russia was part of the EU, but do they have the Euro? No. Are they going to have the Euro? Probably not.
The debate on whether Russia is part of Europe is still being argued to this day, the people of Western Russia are mainly slavic and european descent, but the Siberian people are more asian. The Golden Horde invaded Russia during the middle ages so there is a lot of Asian blood there. IMHO Russia is not part of Europe, Russia is Russia. It's about three times bigger than Europe. If it was part of Europe then Europe would stretch from the Atlantic to the Pacific. oOo:

They are partner of the EU, whatever that means. Read a previous post of mine why they are Europe. Because they are. But the topic starter already said they he is in control of the rules, and Russia is not participating in this war.

But they will

Flawed theory, mate.

A continent is not defined by the currency that its members use. Take North America, for a start.

That's the war won right there. The B-2s will whipe out an entire continent's naval force.

Sorry, you're right... How could America lose?

imported_Fluffy_Bunny 06-10-2003 05:19 PM

Flawed on the currency perhaps but there's no way in hell anyone is going to convince me that Vladivostok is in Europe.

If anyone wants to attempt please do...

oOo:[/quote:8251e]

well, you were going at this from the "Europe has more people, so teh US will lose" point of view.

Sure Europe combined may have a larger land army, but the US is the last great naval power (probably more, better ships than Europe; I have to go to warships1.com and count though), and we can "cheat" with our nearly invisible stealth planes. If I was a destroyer skipper I would be pretty scared if there was an invisible (to radar) plane out there waiting to rain JDAMs and JSOWs on me and my Air Force cannot even find him, much less get a radar lock and shoot a missile.
