I have a weird problem. On my family's computer, if you highlight something in MS word and then hit the delete key, nothing happens. The highlighted part is still there and the cursor just goes back to flashing. The key works, because it deletes if you don't highlight anything, it's just when you highlight a sentence for instance and want to delete it, it won't. Any ideas?

Just my luck to get a faulty motherboard, had it all hooked up tonight for testing, turn it on and one of the diodes beside a ram slot starts to glow white hot and belch out smoke. annoy:
Have to wait up to 21 days for a replacement now. oOo: |

if you want to join a game thats in the q3 architechture (COD2, MOHAA, COD1, ET), you can just rightclick, go to properties, and the end of where it says target, put + connect xx.xx.xxx.xx where the X is the IP of the server. edit: For BF2, if you launch from CD there is an option saying "Start Playing Now", press that, and it will connect you to the first suitable server. |

Also, I've had no troubles with my Dell1905fp monitor in the past month, but recently theres a line on the left side of the screen that fucks up the resolution of anything that is being viewed near that area(meaning ill move an image over there and the area where the line overpasses the image is all f'ed up, and on the desktop wallpaper the line distorts that specific area of the image)...any idea what i could do to fix this? |
