of course it doesnt, but i think mainstream music is strictly business, whereas (most) underground music comes from the heart, where music should come from. im not gonna argue with you because mainstream music does have its moments, but they are rare and i often doubt its legitimacy.

Commercial Rap has very rarely had any 'moment' in the last decade. They've been making the same music since 1997 - If you hear a track from then you probably wont be able to tell it apart from stuff coming out now. Originality has frozen and it is now officially based entirely around money.

Any legitimate commercial rap acts have disappeared. Kanye had it for a while, as did Lupe, he was the closest thing, and even then neither of them were any better than the massive alternative/underground scene of artists, that major labels refuse to touch.

All these conflicting opinions on music is like slapping people with wind. Doesn't change anybody.

It's all the same vibration. People hate on mainstream because it's all about the money. It may be for the rc's but it really just isn't for some(as in mainstream consumers) people who listen to the shit though.

If you don't have an open mind to everything like pyro, you're only constricting yourself. Most people may see it as a good restriction, but you cant hold it against anybody for digging a tune.
