Saw Venom last night, which wasn't too bad. I also saw some movie called Population 648, or some shit, which was pretty bad.

Doctor Duffy 11-12-2006 10:41 PM

16 Blocks? No it wasn't. Infact critics tended to rip on it because of the tired formula (which turned out to be handled fairly originally)...If anything I'd say it was a little bit underrated.

It was a little bit, but I got past it quite early on. I was quite amazed how Bruce Willis actually played this role fairly originally for someone who has made a career out of playing these washed-up alcoholic cops against the world. I really pityed his character....

Machette 11-13-2006 08:27 PM

Hostel.

I personally have no idea why I rented it because it was tedious and I never really understood enjoyed the horror genre.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450278/

The Road To Guantanamo.

Good depiction based on the tiption three. Shows the treatment that most, if not all the detainees are going through. It also made me feel ashamed to be apart of humanity.

gtboys34 11-13-2006 10:10 PM

went to see the departed this weekend but was HIGHLY dissapointed at how it ended though. They couldnt think of anything better than that ffs? Im looking forward to the alt ending for sure

Gonzo 11-13-2006 10:48 PM

Clerks.

Machette 11-16-2006 12:20 AM

High Fidelity.

Decent flick that made me think about reorganizing my life.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0146882/

Word Play.

Made for true documentary lovers. Jon Stewart's short interview is brilliant.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0492506/

Vertigo.

First of a few Hitchcock movies I've started watching. It was slow at times but the plot was ingenious.

Mission Impossible 3

Wasn't to bad, much better than 2 and i mean much

Poseidon 11-16-2006 06:41 PM

went to see saw 3 couple nites ago, great film.

mR.cLeAn 11-16-2006 10:43 PM

just came from casino royale, and let me just say the movie was so/so

Just the entire bond intro was all wrong. Where are the girls????
- The storyline was great though ... not enough action.

Overall with out giving away anything, it was good. Not as good as other bond movies, but craig surely fits the role.

Doctor Duffy 11-16-2006 10:44 PM

Fucking blondie annoy:

I might see it this weekend though

Doctor Duffy 11-16-2006 11:09 PM

I read the review, it got a fucking niiiiinnnnnnety five percent at Rotten Tomatoes... that's pretty amazing considering them, some of the best movies I've ever seen they've given no more than 71's. A ninety five.. thats pretty fucking amazing (not just 1 person either, it's collected reviews)

CoMaToSe 11-16-2006 11:30 PM

Aliens. I almost forgot how amazing this movie is. Every Bill Paxton line is amazing

Gonzo 11-17-2006 01:54 AM

As a guy what gets me was that there was not enough action, if I went in expecting no action, than the movie would have been great - cause like I said the story like was great and amazing and shows how bond matures and grows into his role.

Poseidon 11-17-2006 01:33 PM

Just seen Jarhead again, wasnt too keen last time because i expected alot more conflict, but really enjoyed it second time round, read more into the story.
