I was extremely surprised to hear about this when I was flipping through channels today. Big loss to the WWII historical community. Rest in peace and all that jazz. (Sorry, I'm not big on that kind of stuff, but it needed something, eh?)

Damn, he was a good writer and historian, i just read BoB like a month ago to cry:
