How do you not check if your PC can maintain a part before you buy it??!! Do you buy tires for your car that only fit on a motorcycle?!

When I first got myself a REAL video card, I didn't know what AGP or PCI was.
It's not such a LEAP of logic to think someone doesn't know EVERY component of their machine. AND, I can easily see if this person assumed PCI and AGP were simply two different types of cards you could go with. And no, checking your computer for system parts will not make him a SUN-LESS GEEK. Checking his computer obsessively, and then hopping on a forum and attempting to deride someone for not having "simple" intelligence, in an attempt to validate himself WILL make him one. |

Ed - its all perspective. A year and a half ago, I could tell you the difference in agp, pci, usb, and pbj. But after making a mistake or two and doing some research, it all makes sense and now seems stupid not to know (no offense meant to those that dont). BUT, I also know that all pcs are different and you should look 'under the hood' before you go buy fuel injection for a carborated engine.
