the player models are really detailed, have u tried raisin ure textures to max and makin ure resolution higher, it might lag it up though. The question is would u rather have better lookin graphics or a faster game. My opinion on sum of the guns is there should be more detail on the pistols, bar rifle and mg 40. They seem really plain, but thats only my opinion. But the sounds are so dope, especially the rifles, shit

Do not attempt to adjust your set, this is a Streaming Freedom video bulletin, the cable hack will last exactly 60 seconds. It cannot be traced, it cannot be stopped, and it is the only free voice left in this city.

I still think MoH player models and skins are more realistic than RtCW. Hell, not every soldier looked like a body builder in WW2. Take a closer look and compare them. MoH models are incredibly detailed, and if the textures arent fully pumped up in the demo wait for what they will look like in the full game.

Skidrow, i agree with the weapon models. i think there the best in any game so far. just the player models arent as realistic as rtcw. The weapons are one of my favorite parts of MoH.

yeha and remember this is only a demo they could totally change the look by buildin up the detail, but what i think they should ahve more guns, i saw sum show on discovery channel all the guns that were made durin the war and there is a lot more guns not sure if they used all of em but might as well put em in atleast for multiplayer, i dont care much but it would be dope to have more guns, the germans had like 3 other smgs made i think before the war, and did u know that in the 30s u could buy a thompson or also known as a tommy gun at the local hardware store without any signin or anyhting or registration, hehe crazy shit, peace

heh, I am a DoD "defector"

I played the demo in team matches and even with the poorly designed level, I still enjoyed it immensely. I love the game and am extremely lookin forward to the full game.

(btw. if my DoD m8s read this I'm so gonna get backstabbed http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/icons/icon25.gif

Poorly designed levels??? Best ive seen in a FPS(dont try to say DoDs maps are better)
By the way RTCW doesnt come close to MOH in ANY way!

Sheriff 12-19-2001 12:57 AM

I've seen alot of gamers judging MOH because of the less then fantastic map and comparing it all to DoD/Rtcw but for sure MOH makes up for the bad criticism with realistic sounds which sound great on a 4 speaker sound system btw and highly detailed textures, many hours of great gameplay, Ok i've never played DoD so i can't say which is better nor do i have the right to do so, Everyone has their own views on MOH/DOD/RTCW and it would be nice to see people respect that and stop bad mouthing MOH all around the forums, just becuase that certain individual dislikes MOH, i don't think many gamers understand how much work is put into developing a game like MOH, Myself been a programmer it can be crushing to see a gamer try one map just one map and judge the whole thing demo or otherwise and going overboard trashing the title , but of course that's the gaming industry for you.

realmccvdj 12-19-2001 01:04 AM

Its not that the architecture is bad (though it could use more detail, like old furniture and stuff), its just the textures and lighting is really bland (it may just be that the bland lighting is making the texture look equally bland). Once again, this will be fixxed Im sure. Between this and RTCW I can't really say which is better because of MOHAA's laggy gameplay because of less than perfect *ahem* net code. This will also be fixed and will go away once there are some dedicated servers. This is a demo, but that is still not an excuse, if there were so many problems I almost think the demo should not have been released. I hate to say it but RTCW demo didn't have these problems. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif
