Yeah! Give us a rifle that does less damage than a single shot from an smg! Technically the .45 pistol would do more since the M1 is .30 cal. So If EA were to make an expansion, this rifle should do about 2/3 of the damage a pistol does, but be really accurate. The gun is very light however, maybe instead of balancing the damage out they could make it so that people who carry them can run faster or something...

no, the .30 cal does a lot more damage. .45 acp is basically a short fat round while .30 is a lot longer and does a lot more damage.

yep, which is why you never see a silenced garand biggrin: although weapons like the m4 can be supressed by using special ammunition (which also does less damage)
