For all the people who played the old version of BF1942. If you have not updated your game. I would. It's like playing a whole different game.


The netcode is 1000x better and you can now hit the person your aiming at and kill them with 2-3 hits.

Still for upclose combat MOH takes the cake. I do however like the openness of the battles. Oh how I miss Delta Force

So far, I've only got the demo, but it seems like a great game, I plan to buy it as soon as I can afford it.

apparently since i dont hav an amazing cutting edge computer, i cant do shit with bf1942 but look at the inverted color sp levels, wondering wtf is going on...
because of its technical difficulties, i give bf1942 a -1 star for not only sucking, but also making me wait for it to maybe work if i tried a million different solutions

i suggest u try some mods then
theres a sorta realism mod that gives u other weapons like the m1 garand


and the best mod is desert combat Alpha release 1.0(2.0 is coming soon)

just barely acceptible. 500mhz, 9GB, 2 years old- i need a new comp to play games like fire1: bf1942 M16: , im getting one before i go to college this year, besides an alienware or whtever its called, what should i go for, im thinking dell.

delta force..lol..that was a great game for its time. i had a lot of good times being a sniper with that game. everybody trying to get to one point while you lay far away on a hill popin away till you run outa ammo..that was a great game.

DF2 with grass rules. Now that is real sniping.

I can't count how many times I almost stepped on an enemy because I could not see then lying prone in the grass.

Looking forward to DF BHD ( suppose to bring back some grass )

I like BF1942 for the most part. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of teamwork on public servers. If I could find a decent server where people play the game as it was intended I'd play it more often than never.

I haven't played it since before the patch came out. What did it do to the game?

haha, df2 is classssssssic! Its also the only game with the easiest map maker.
Yeah, my mom just got a brand new dell with 1gHz processor and 60GB RAM, i just need to get a hot graphics accelerator and ill be playin on a comp that makes the games look obsolete for once...
Also, when it comes to insane multiplayer action, i say wolfenstein is up there too, cuz the classes concept is really good, and its only gonna get better with the expansion pack coming soon...

I got BF and played ot for a week...then all the hopping, 3 nades killing a Tiger tank and all the morons that would line up for planes made me sick so I left. I heard they fixed the 3 nades killing a tank....now it is like 4-5 or something like that. BF wants to be for serious gamers, but it is geared towards CS and quake kiddies.

The patch saved the game for me. I played it for a few weeks...put it down...picked it up when the patch was released. This game rocks now. Still a few bugs in it (getting disconnected from servers randomly; although i only play this with the fellas in aM, ans we are all kicked at the same time?). the EA servers are hit or miss though. TKing is unholy in this game as is lack of team play. The open maps and classes are a refreshing break from MOH. I really havent seen or experienced any hackinig or cheating in this game either?!?!?!?!?
