Not too shabby!

One thing I've noticed with a lot of new sigs is that there's no fully opaque elements...everything is semi-transparent.

Semi-transparency and blending is essential, but an effective sig needs some sort of opaque element that stands out from the background. Otherwise, all you have is a mush of imagery.

Leave it as is. Keep the opacity of the layer 100%.

You are using layers, right?
