true but dod isn't boxed up and shipped out to the sales bin, no company would support a product that much.

From what ive read though it may be going retail soon. Then again that means tons of n00bs and a load of hacks. =/

Dod? nah. All they need to do is spruce up the weapons models and shit and sell it for $20 or so. Same with counterstrike that retails for $20 i think. Saying that though counterstrike:condition zero will be a full orice game and its on the same ancient hl engine. ed:

But all the player models and weapons have been overhaued so they look a lot better. biggrin:

I think MOV:V might do good. All FPS are basically the same, just a small twist/feature that changes them.

Red Faction: Geo-Mod technoligy.

UT2003: fast-paced gameplay, graphics.

MOH: Realistic WWII gameplay.

Just the weapons, graphics, and the physics of the FPS are what set it apart from another.

i guess i missed the deleted bob scenes where they run around assault sniping, lean strafing, bunny hopping, nade spamming, running with perfect accuracy, full auto with no recoil, rifle-like mg accuracy on the first shot, russians landing in normandy scenes.

And what's more realistic? BF1942? WWII Online? I doubt that. Besides the glitches & cheats, MOH is probably one of the best WWII FPS ever.

Urm imo and a lot of others moh online is nothing more than a dumbed down version of quake 3 with ww2 weapons. As far as realism goes day of defeat is more realistic. Battlefield was never intended as a realistic game.

01-29-2003 12:26 PM

so since bf1942 is arcadey (like mohaa isn't) that automatically makes mohaa realistic?

Bartlett 01-29-2003 12:30 PM

DoD is mostly one shot kills in chest right?
At least in that it's impossible to kill anyone who is more than a couple of meters whislt you are running

Dj RaNnY kAn 01-29-2003 01:59 PM

ok ive played alot of games and i think mohaa is my fav and mov should be fun i have played q3 (and a lot of there mods) but that game gets very boring very fast and rtcw was my 2nd fav game and bf1942 if i had fps i would play it lol
