go with the GeForce lineup
either get a cheaper GeForce 2 or spend some more money and buy GeForce 3. I would buy GF3 since it supports pixel shading and it will be much better suited for Doom3 and Unreal2 when they come out.

I have a Gofrce2 MX400 64 MB VideoCard. And it runs GREAT ! The only down side is that you have to have over 128 RAM and really good CPU to run this card at its best. It was only $50 and you can get it at a lot of places. CircuitCity is one.

Also, you need to try and get WicketGL drivers for your videocard, they make it run 100 times better ! I believe the site is www.WicketGL.com if that doesnt work, then ask Bad Script for the site.

"So I guess I changed some. Sometimes I wonder if I've changed so much my wife is even gonna recognize me whenever it is I get back to her. And how I'll ever be able to, to tell her about days like today. Ah, Ryan...I don't know anything about Ryan and I don't care. The man means nothing to me. He's just a name. But if you know, going on to Ramelle and finding him so he can go home, if that earns me the right to get back to my wife, well then, that's my mission."
