I feel that if anyone uses a script/cheat in the game to get an advantage over a player, they shouldn't be playing on a server that I am in. I don't think its just, and even if it were EA's mistake not to patch it, it dosen't make it right, or fun, to exploit.

But let me say that Snipey's right, this thread is pretty lame. I mean, all the threads on aa.com go back and forth between cheating to EA sucks to "this clan's uber lame" and back again... well, throw in an occasional retribution from an ex-cheater (not that I want to drudge that crap back up).

Anyway, you want an opinion, here it is: if you feel you need to do something to make it easier to "win" at the game, whether it be SP or MP, then you're applying a cheat. Afterall, in SP God Mode is a cheat specifically thrown in by EA for people who either can't hack playing it normally or enjoy just wreaking havoc for an hour. You take that same idea to MP, it doesn't change because it's in a different arena - it's still a cheat.

Now, why would you want to bring this up after seeing these discussions go the same way every time. I mean, is there a difference between a less-known person bringing it up versus a commonly known cheater bringing it up. Either way, looks like you're just trying to justify taking advantage of other people.

a cheat is a cheat, if it gives u a large advantage than its a cheat

The only reason folks are starting these threads is to see what kind of reaction they will get and see if they can stir the flames even more. Some folks need to get a damn life.

Try to look at it in this perspective.
Is it still cheating on a server that allows certain mods like sniper scope modifications?
It should be up to the server to decide who is and is not cheating.
If the server states...No custom skins or no snipermods or scripting changes and you use them then your cheating. plain and simple!
