I liked the hobbit. Better than those lord of the rings crap. And much shorter too. It has killing, which is better than any of the books we read. The ending was pretty good too, especially the dragon. May be the best character in any book. All we read are pussy books like the grapes of wrath and some lesbian book about 8 chinese women. Most of the time we read propaganda on how white people are evil. I would much rather be reading the hobbit is all I am saying. And I always tell the truth to teachers. At one point or another, atleast they respect you a bit. I don't necessarily want teachers' respect. But it is always nice come grading time. Although some teachers can't be reasoned with. And this one sounds like a real asshole, so I wouldn't know what to tell you either way. Good luck with that though, and be thankful you are reading something semi good.
