Princess Mononoke was rated better than Forrest Gump.

Just because its cartoon doesn't mean its made for kids or not good.

Mononoke has an incredible plot, great voice acting and animation. Maybe if you'd take the time to watch it before you judge it you'd understand.

tv - blackadder goes forth - agreed, is brilliant comedy wth a powerful ending.

film - some that have struck me lately was the ending to Red Dragon, the last thing hannibal says. its such a cool tie to silence of the lambs.
and also the ending of Unbreakable. a lot of people thought that movie was shit, but the way he just comes out and says "the children - they called me mr glass" - his badguy name. My sister and I were sitting thinking aww cool! what a kick ass ending!
