here in toronto a 45 year old doctor died from it. also a 40 year old firfighter in great shape. so it dosent just kill the weak. theirs no way they can really contain a respratory desiase like SARS. eventually it will get out of control. its just a matter of time unfortunitly. BTW 1/3 of the world thats about 3 billion people hake: im just wondering how long till i see some guy walking by me in a full out chemical suit. ed:

Are you talking about the bubonic plague back in medieval Europe? Those were differnt times people were dumb as rocks, they thought the plague was a punishment from god. oOo: People today are much more educated and hopefully more prepared I pray and hope that they will find a way to contain and neutralize this.

1/3 of the worlds population is 2 billion, not 3. We just in the last couple of years passes the 6 billion mark.

As for people the disease infects and kills, It doesn't seem to matter if your healthy or not. Old people have died, and younger people have died as has been pointed out.

Anyway, people skipping out on quarintine aren't helping the situation much.

Great marketing campaign.

"Come and see the sights and sounds of a SARS victim. It will take your breath away!"

[quote="Old Reliable":2f4a3]well I was listening on the BBC and a prominent physician was saying that there is a possibility that people infected with HIV and AIDS could have accelerated symptoms if they inherit SARS. imagine if this is true and SARS is introduced to Africa[/quote:2f4a3]such a sick and nasty mind have mercy
