MOHAA, Warcraft 3, CnC Generals and AvP2 are pretty much all we play at LANs...Great, fast paced FPS, scary as shit, mind you...

and that lol its just so atmospheric with all the different sounds and how you're on your own in a dark area it totally reminded me of the second Aliens movie which I loved since its really the only proper marine vs alien one :/

Yeah, I stayed up until midnight last night playing a game for the first time in a while. I finished the demo Marine mission, and the sounds and lighting effects are badass. I loved walking into the cooridor and my squadmate yelling over the com: Get the hell out of there Frosty! The radar effect is the best thing about it too, and all the sounds have been dubbed from the movies. Very cool.

One of the best games out there! I have AVP2 and Primal Hunt expansion pack. I play the MP of it, but I'm really not a huge fan of it. It's a little too fast paced, like Quake or Unreal. The SP is hella scary! I'll be walking along then bam! Some shit burst out the wall and I'm shooting em with my mini-gun!

What do you get in the exp pack ?

I don't think you get a whole helluva lot in the expansion pack. But I do have to say this is one of the few games where players can't say "OMFG you are using chameleon skins!" or "OMG you aimbot n00b!" or "WTF man, you jumped 50 feet across the map! n00b!!"

Also I think Fox is thinking about making an AVP3 game next year.

Fox was supposed to make an Alien vs Preditor movie but it fell through.

I think it is, the first one isn't, but the second one looks just as good as MOHAA. The effects more than make up for the graphics.
