The Clash and the Ramones.

Sublime was good, too, but I didnt know they were punk.

I guess I am not really sure what qualifies as punk anymore.

w0lfw00d 06-12-2003 12:43 PM

My thoughts too.

Too many categories.

Akuma 06-12-2003 01:19 PM

AFI

They are my favorite punk band but I don't even really like them that much.

Coleman 06-12-2003 01:50 PM

download a few songs by the band "The Starting Line"

THey've gotten really big up here in the NorthEast. They are from a city that is pretty close to mine so they often come here and do small shows. Download a few songs and let's see what ya think.

w0lfw00d 06-12-2003 01:54 PM

ive seen them live. they were pretty good.

Tripper 06-12-2003 02:02 PM

Have any of you guys heard of Frenzal Rhomb? I've heard a track or two from them, it sounded reasonable...It seemed like Punk too me to, although I'm not the greatest at telling the diff between other styles when it comes to Punk.

w0lfw00d 06-12-2003 02:14 PM

has anyone heard Fugazi, Rites of Spring, or Embrace. Those are some old school bands that are the fathers of emo. but they sound more hardcore punk than emo.
