My normal ping is 20-30

Try Day Of Defeat. I find that it plays a little better than MOH for 56k. You can still get your ass handed to you, but a least there isn't the 1 second delay when you try to fire your weapon. And if you are skilled enough you can still get decent scores.

Is DoD like WWII Online? Do you have to pay $10.99 a month to play online?

i think what he means is that there are some games online on different sites u actually gotta sign up for and pay to play multiplayer. hes not new to internet, just inquiring on how the game works. You do not have to pay anything to play DoD.

Yeah he probably did. The only thing you have to pay for is either it itself at a store, or if you have half life already and just download it for free.

In your Multiplayer setup - setup your connection to ISDN, When you dial up to your IPS, make sure your connection is at least 50000 BPS or better. Also, when your playing the game. You notice you can here your footsteps when your running. If you run and you can't here them STOP, your starting to over Ping. It works for me, got me kicked out of less games.

i just went thru this(the chop) myself and tried everything possible to work it out... my problem turned out to be refresh rate. since you have the ati card try ati refresh fix ...
