its out on the 1st of feb here in n.ireland.
i don't think that is too long to wait.

I agree that preordering online is the worst thing you can do if you want the game bad. I heard stories that sometimes games dont get delivered for a week or so. This is my first preorder online.

I preordered from EA because EA sent me a 15 dollar coupon. I am buying it for 24.99 from ea store and for that I can take a risk on not getting it on the release day.

Otherwise I would never prorder a game online.

some of us have preordered it from the STORE not online, i would never pre order online. Pre order in the store incase it sells out so you are guarnteed a copy of it the day its out.

That is what I did...just went down there and pre-paid. That way, you are guaranteed to get a copy when you come to pick it up.

When I preordered at EB here in Canada, they told me that they would GET IT on the 24th, so that's when I'm expecting the call.

And if there isn't an EB store in your city, then what can you do besides wait? In my experience with pre-ordering games I usually got them the same day they appeared at EB stores, and usually A WEEK before they were available at Best Buy or Media Play or Wal-Mart.

Circuit City is *supposedly* getting it in tomorrow, because Tuesdays just HAPPEN to be one of the days they always get their shipments in. =)

As far as whether I'll GET it tomorrow, with my parents, who hate to drive, it's hard to tell.

I called CC today to confirm that, and no one answered the 3 times I called. I'll call again tonight.

I work at Best Buy and I checked our computer and it isn't in so far. But we do get drop shipments during the day so I will check there or get it from the competitor, i.e. Circuit City.
