I added "set dmflags 786432" as the very last line in my C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\mainta server.cfg file and nothing seems to change once I start my non-dedicated server. eek: |
You don't use your server.cfg file when using a non-dedicated server.
Try running [code:903d6]exec server.cfg [/code:903d6] from the command after you start your non dedicated server |

"exec server.cfg" Entered into the in-game console loaded! WHOA! Thanks a million! biggrin:

Did you get it to work?

Running "exec server.cfg" loaded up what it says (the server config file) but that wasn't what I wanted to load up.. I wanted to load up what my "Spearhead_Server_Setup.exe" GUI was modifying, which sure wasn't the server.cfg file. So I reluctently ported into myself as a dedicated server and was able to take advantage of the Spearhead_Server_Setup.exe GUI modifier. I wish I knew what file "Spearhead_Server_Setup.exe" was modifying so I could load it up with the exec command and start a non-dedicated server. M16:

Truth is
I cannot enable Lean While Running for my non-dedicated server; - Seems a command cannot be entered while running a non-dedicated server to enable Lean While Running. - Seems an external edit to a certain file cannot enable Lean While Running to the non-dedicated server. -Loading server.cfg is no help since I cannot modify the server.cfg file to my needs without a GUI editor which prob doesn't exist. -Starting Spearhead_Server_Setup.exe and running a dedicated server seems to be a lame excuse to enable Lean While Running, running this dedicated server doesn't even show up on the internet anyways so forget that idea. |
WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!
WHOA! GOT IT!
I have my perfect non-dedicated public server running now. I did this via MOHASS Server Launch Utlity and the in-game console; 1. Start MOHAAS Server Launch Utlity (Spearhead_Server_Setup.exe) 2. Configure all the settings your heart desires in this Utility 3. To save Utlity configurations hit "Run Server" in the bottom right corner 4. Up comes a dedicated server console, close it, your config is now saved 5. start medal of honor allied assault: spearhead (moh_spearhead.exe) heh 6. get into the in-game console via multiplayer or singleplaye using the ~ 7. type in: exec server.cfg 8. your done! -- *The mistake I was making before was not hitting the "Run Server" to save my configuration changes. angel: |
