1) Into the eagles nest (not realistic, but it was one of the first war movies i saw, and it made a big impression, it has charisma)

2) Full metal jacket

3) Apocalypse now

4) platoon

5) SPR

I'm planning on renting Platoon before I go on holiday.
Should I?
Is it any good?
I heard it was.
I know it's about Vietnam.

platoon is awesome! you will be like"whoa" when they are in the crater

platoon is great, so is SPR...Pearl Harbor just wasnt that exciting though...and im SO GLAD that someone said Patton, that's one of the best movies of all time. did anyone ever see the second patton moive? the post war years or something along that line? The Longest Day is better in color, i strongly recommend getting it in color. And did we all forget The Great Escape?!
