Sometimes it's the parents fault, sometimes it isn't. Some people are born crazy and the parents can't control them. We all go on about how the Columbine murders are their faults, when we could say it was the people who picked on them or their parents. Honestly, that's what I believed, something driven them to do something, justw hat they choose to do was way over the top.[/quote:ba616] Some people are born crazy. . .That enforces my argument. If the children have issues then the parents should have been attentive enough to notice, like the parents of those sociopaths in Columbine. I believe that attentive parenting can stop many of these incidents, however, that is too often what is missing.[/quote:ba616] You're right, but a parent can't watch or moditor there kids 24/7...well they can...but i'm sure the kid would try killing them instead because of it. But you're right, different parenting could easilly prevent these things. |

And, I've never hunted myself.[/quote:ffd34] In our society we live in, I'm sure most people can afford to not have to kill their prey in order to eat. Though...I have to take into account what they eat has been hunted beforehand. So, unless the hunter is just doing it for the joy of the kill, it would just by the cycle of the food chain working. |

Pyro is entitled to his opinion. I just disagree with him, as do some others here. To return to the original discussion, I think parents trying to blame video games for their children's violent actions is ludicrous. How do you explain the other 1,000,000+ kids who played Grand Theft Auto who didn't kill anyone? Next, they will be saying that games like Hitman 2 encourage kids to shave their heads and become assassins. eek:

I am very grateful of that comment. Wanna go shoot some rabbits? Or maybe one has already been ran over. Must be dinner time. |

No one ever looks at that...all they need is one moron to say it's the games fault and everything goes haywire. |
