Slight Problem-
Hi I now have the respawn mod in and the obj_team2 placed into my Team-Match rotation section in Spearhead_Server_Setup.exe, so my rotation looks like this;
DM/mohdm6 DM/mohdm2 obj/obj_team2 DM/mohdm5 obj/MP_Ardennes_TOW DM/mohdm1 DM/MP_Unterseite_DM All maps load up in g_gametype 2 & g_gametypestring team-match *This is a problem since you can still blow and defuse bombs though without losing the match, if done it resumes like a team match would, so I have players running around trying to blow and defuse bombs as if it were a normal objective match lol and thats no good. The way I got this map working perfect without the players being able to blow and defuse bomb was in Spearhead_Server_Setup.exe to choose Game Type: Objective and pick the obj/obj_team2 then start the server and change the g_gametype to 2 and it was perfect because the g_gametype was 2 and the g_gametypestring was objective. To fix this when I'm in Game Type Team Match with my rotation and obj/obj_team2 comes along I try and set the gametypestring back to objective via - g_gametypestring objective, then it says pls restart map so I type in restart and then run a serverinfo check and the game is still in Team-Match gamestring, why is this? I *must* have obj/obj_team2 in objective to stop those bombs from working help! |
Solution
Well here is an untechnical solution to my problem, I will just run in on the allies team just before everyone gets going and set off the two bombs and then no one will have to worry!

you dont need a respawn mod to get obj maps in tdm....just type in console "rcon exec team.cfg" (which should exec team deathmatch if i remember right...) then after it loads the first map in the tdm rotation just go into the console and type "rcon map obj/obj_team1 or whatever other map u want, and it should work...also you could just go into your servers .cfg files and have your team.cfg file updated to have obj maps in its rotation.
