VC is great it just lacks a decent netcode

And you cant say that about COD? BULLSHIT, cod has to be one of the worst offenders of this "reach this point" triggers. Men magically appear out of no where to continue fighting until you reach a certain point or do something specific.

VC's realistic damage model as opposed to cod's rediculas arcade knock down and get back up half mag kills. Honestly VC is the biggest breath of fresh air into the otherwise bland FPS market. It strays from typical conventions of the genre that cod sadly falls flat on its face into.

I'll put it this way. I had VC loaded twice on my computer, one was the US release, the other was the un-censored version released other places. I still have the uncensored version installed and im just waiting for the X pack. COD i played for 1 day, didnt complete, and un-installed less than 3 days after getting it. The MP was odd, though certain levels were entertaining. VC MP was completly incredible. Airstrikes, coop, "VC" mode, all are awsome features.

I was truly saddened when VC didnt do as well as i had hoped. I really wanted it to become something. Something deserving of its level of greatness, and inovation.[/quote:ba6dd]

It just wasnt fun. I finish a bunch of games and i dont think I got 1/2 thru vc. Hell, I even finished Will Rock. All games have triggers. Its just that in vc everything was so linear. Walk up to this rock, shot the guy on the cliff, advance to this tree, shoot the two guys down the path. With cod, you can play the same fight over and over and never finish it hte same with both friendly and enemy AI acting differntly every time. Cod just has so much more depth to it, IMO. I could never find a good server for mp and I hated how the skins blended so well.

this is just your opinion. In reality COD has more servers more players more action. There is a reason VC got medicore ratings like 75% while COD knocked off a 90+ everywhere. Overall COD has had 90% more success over VC and this is why in general "its better" if VC is better to you then fine its good for you, but the rest of the crowd thinks other wise and the majority always wins.

If you want some sort of "true feeling fps" then why arren't you playing Op Flash Point, or Ghost Recon ?

-also I would call "Call Of Duty" some run frag and forget game like quake 3, it trys tio make a perfect balence of both which it does. This satifies both sides of the spectrum. oOo:

COD isn't a true run and gun or a so called "highly tactical" game such as.....vietcong..

It is just the perfect blend to make it some sort of great hybrid.

The MP sucks. The SP was worth the 30 minutes to download it though.

COD 1300 servers as of today. How long has it been out for again ? 3 weeks ? How many does Vietcong have ?

The proper statement would have been "I" hate multiplayer not MP sucks for COD.
