i see the svt in that screenshot, is that b/c you are:

1) Playing the map on SH?
2) That beta is different and has the weapons in it now?
3) The beta always had different weapons and rain, my game is just fucked up?

I really want to see these converted weapons which i assume are for aa??

Merlin122 12-11-2003 03:38 PM

there are no converted weapons, vassili and konig bots or new player skins.... WTF?

General Cobra 12-11-2003 03:47 PM

*sigh*

It's the map. It's just the map. You'll have to wait until it's done.

Can I get some feedback from some of you? I know hearing "It's GREAT!" is always a good sign, but I kinda need some idea of how it ran. If it ran fine and you can play it thats great post that. Anything else is welcome please.

Merlin122 12-12-2003 04:58 PM

its a really good map...well then again its a cobra map so u know ur getting quality by the time u reach filefront

Belgian_Soldier 12-13-2003 05:05 AM

i like the map
but i can't see any background

yeah, actually, the beta map ran strangely smoothely, better than some stock maps

sometimes spawning behind those boxes or in the boat and having to jump out or manuver through em was annoying, so maybe change some of the spawn points

some of the sniper points were briliant, and if i can get to the server thats running the map when there are more people playing and its not just a snipefest, im sure it would be cool.

new weapons, bots, and some rain that im seeing would make a good edition, and i dont think the fps would be tht bad with all of those in it as well...

Well good luck getting up the beach now. I changed it to dirt and added several random explosions so hit the trenches because wondering out on the beach is not a pretty site.

The amazing fps is due to what is called caulk sky a texture that allows the farplane (how far you can see/fog) to blend with the skybox being caulk sky.

If only, if only, I could map like Gen. Cobra. If then, I'd be able to map out all my ideas perfectly. Gen. Cobra, your maps are the best I've ever seen. And I've seen a helluva lot of maps. I especially liked your Blitzkreig and Iron Tusk campaigns. Totally and utterly awesome. You are the king of MoH:AA mappers, and no, I'm not sucking up, I'm just telling the truth. Anyone who disagrees can kiss my arse. Gen. Cobra, your maps rock:
