Really, my point isn't that what canada did in the war was insignificant...
My point is that americans died in greater numbers, with higher casualty ratios in every war that americans and candians have fought "side by side" in, in the history of our two countries. However, amercians don't seem to have this inferiority(sp) complex that causes us to break out into song everytime an american shows up in a video game. We don't devote entire threads to the fact that americans are in a video game. I don't feel the need to get pissed everytime someone disses america? why? Because every other "western" culture and economic system, including canada's, is based upon america's. Canada's military is a much smaller twin of america's. In fact, nearly every large weapon used by the canadian military is an american product. So sit back, shut up, and realize that canada is little more then america's 51st state. |
