That's why I won't bother with ase. I read it was freeware, then i get there & start seeing something about registration. MOHAA really needs an ingame browser(guess it's too late for that?), like most other bigname games of the last few years. HL, UT, Q3, RTCW, etc... If they got their nose up GS's arse, as it seems, well ppl are gonna get tired of that shiat fast.. I know I am already. POS GSA doesn't seem to work as good as GS3D either. ½ the time I refresh a server it doesn't change, you cant even tell if it did anything, I've seen servers listed in it showing 5 ppl, refresh still shows 5 ppl, try to connect & the server's not even there.. I don't need all those fancy-stoopid features either.. Such as chat (got irc & trillian for that), the fancy interface, etc. GSA pisses me off too in a way, because I already own GS3D, now they're prolly gonna quit updating it so ppl will have to spend mo money on GSA. I refuse to buy that shiat. Ahh, more steam let off, feels good.. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/wink.gif ------------------ http://home.austin.rr.com/ottf/c0aX_red_tiltr_s.gif #~ridin'_the_wire~0 |
Hi guys..
Just to set every one straight...ASE do NOT need to be registered..but you will get more features if you do and you will support the guy that made it. I have used ASE for some 7 months and it rocks..give me a patch with an ingame browser and i will still use ASE. shorTstop |

Guys, just wait next week for the release patch by EA to add an INTERNAL BROWSER!!! http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif

Um, the interneal browser IS gamespy. |
I do not know what the big deal is about internal browsers. I for one didn't use it ever since gamespy 3d (not gamespy arcade) came out. Never liked internal browsers especially when you have friends that play on line and you cant icq them the ip addy.
All Seeing Eye is the best thing that came out for gaming. Its super fast especially if you put some filters on and you can easily get your buddies the ip to the game before you join. Plus there is an option where whne you go into the game and if your icq is on, Icq will go automatically in away mode and posts the ip of the game that you are in. Internal browsers are very limited in my opinion. I'd rather 2015 fix the game more then put in the browser that gamers who have been playing online for long time dont really care about. |

You are assuming YOUR opinions are everyones(or the majority of 'long time gamers'), which is incorrect. Most want, and BITCHED TO EA/2015 for an ingame browser. Most want in game because it is easier to use. I personaly do not care. |
