true i dont get out much. but when i do i generally avoid public toilets (see the do you wash your hands thread for details) so i am unaware of things like this.

Can't say as though I blame you. Public toilets are nasty.

My roommate and I have contests w/ each other to see how many flushes are required for some our shits. It's all based on verbal agreement. I dont actually watch his shit go down the hole. AND if you have to use a plunger it is DQ'ed because it shows a lack of contraction skills. LOL So far my record is 7 flushes... There was a traffic jam at the bottom.

They have those installed in some washrooms in the fancy resturatns and such around here. Since, nobody ever touched the little metal handle to flush out of fear.

Flush once everytime unless you are in a public place in which a
courtesey flush is in order during a shit to keep it from stinking so bad.
