Metallica on the other hand is a powerful band with powerful songs and meanings. Their songwriting is decent, but the solos are shit (yea, i said it). I love metallica, they got me into EVERYTHING im into, but i can admit they arent as talented as other bands i know. you cant compare the two to each other, they are both better than each other in different ways. Personally, I think Dream Theater is better than both of them put together.

you're a funny man, funny funny man. Train of Thought is good, but definitely not their best, if you judge them by that album, die in a firery hole of magma. Images and Words was definitely their best album, along with Awake and Scenes from a Memory.

I did the same 5T4T1C...I did'nt like it...it reminds me of like...Sonic the Hedgehog or some old school Sega Genesis skateboarding game...

id go for the beatles, they molded rock and changed its direction

metallica did the same thing- influenced tons of bands, but i think they lost a lot of thier essense in the late 90s

the beatles were different with every album they made they never lost anything about thier music...at least not until yoko fuckin ono, but its hard not to find at least one beatles song you like...

Beatles touched everyone. You really need to have a heart to love Metallica. I love Metallica.
