[quote="Bullitt Tooth":21621]a crowbar or a baseball bat wont work on their skulls. you have to stab them in the eyes[/quote:21621]
Ya ok? If you hit anything in the head with a baseball bat or metal crowbar then it's going down. |
It would probably be best to not carry weapons that are illegal.
That being said, you should be able to find a decent defence pepper spray in any hardware, or sporting goods store, hell Wal-Mart has some in their sporting goods section. A simple pocket knife may be a solution as well. In case you are attacked by a domestic animal however, all you would need is your hands. Assuming that the animal has one of your arms and is causing harm or you are in fear for your life, simply use the pointer and middle finger of your free hand and push them through the animals eye. If the animal persists pop the eye ball and push through to the brain. That should either cause the animal to release or die depending on how much presure you create. |

Edit: Bulldog's will rip your arm off but they usely go for the face. Also about the domestic animals thing, your hands aren't going to do anything against a rottweiler or bulldog. Your arms with be in their mouth or on the ground, not connected to your arm. |

like some others said, a blunt object (not a blunt though!!!) might be a better choice than pepper spray.
PS. those things are illegal in Canada? I recently found out that I can order fireworks and stuff from Canada (some of which they can't ship to the states due to our laws). So you guys can buy things that blow up but no pepperspray oOo: |
Ya curious, why are they illegal in Canada?

the same fucking crap spoken by every pitt bull owner whose dog has just torn the head or arms of a child. "Oh Satan!?...he's never disemboweled anyone before this....he's so good with the kiddies usually eek: " "What? I can't believe Killer has mauled you within an inch of your life, he usually only threatens to do so." oOo: I'm with joo Jibber...got cornered by some giant mongrel the other day,...I swear all my aa.com posts flashed before my eyes... annoy: |
actually it was scared of everything but cats. it loved children. pitbulls are only vicious if they are provoked, or raised to be vicious

And I just heard from someone down the road that the neighbor's pitbull attacked and bit off two fingers from the mailman. |
1080jibber, you should take a cat (or possibly more than one if you can fit them in a basket) with you. If a dog attacks you, throw the cat at it and then cycle off into the distance like a bat out of hell, hopefully the dog will be more interested in chasing the cat than it will be in chasing your flabby rear end.
