Blackhawks sign free agents Curtis Brown, Matthew Barnaby July 2, 2004 CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Blackhawks signed free agents Curtis Brown and Matthew Barnaby on Friday. Brown split last season between Buffalo and San Jose. The center has appeared in 554 regular-season games, scoring 111 goals and adding 145 assists. Barnaby, a right winger, played for the New York Rangers and the Colorado Avalanche last season. He's appeared in 713 regular-season NHL games, scoring 104 goals and adding 161 assists. |
Yeah, I saw those signings a few days ago. Pretty weak.
Curtis Brown's not bad, though...a little streaky. Barnaby is a meathead. |
I wouldn't touch Hasek with a ten foot hockey stick.

At least they werne't stupid enough to give him 8 million like the moron red wings.
He will hurt myself and be payed for doing nothing again. He doens't give two shits about the stanley cup. |
Conroy signs with Kings
TSN.ca Staff 7/6/2004 TSN has learned that Craig Conroy is leaving the Calgary Flames for the Los Angeles, signing with the Kings as a free agent. The deal is for three years, plus an option. Conroy missed 19 games this past season with a knee injury and scored 47 points in 63 games. However, he bounced back with a strong playoff, scoring 17 points in 26 games as the Flames reached the Stanley Cup Final. The 32 year-old native of Potsdam, New York has elevated his game since arriving in Calgary in March of 2001. Conroy has spent much of his time centering a line with Jarome Iginla, giving the former checking centre a more pronouced offensive role; one that helped him score 188 points in 247 games over three-plus seasons with Calgary. Conroy's status in the game has increased to the point that he was named to the U.S. World Cup team that will compete later this summer. ===== Sucks, but knew it was coming. What I heard is Conroy wanted to stay in Calgary, but he wanted a long term deal for his family and such. Sutter wasn't willing to do that. I guess that's what he got in LA. 3 years and an option. Glad to see that Simon resigned though. He's an awesome player. And he wants to be here. I think thats a huge part. I only want players that want to play here. I'm sure that goes for every team. |

Hasek = loser Fuck Hasek beats up people during friendly street hockey games.[/quote:dd227] Belfour bribes the police for billions of dollars on drunken binges n March 2000, Belfour was arrested for misdemeanor assault and resisting arrest after a pathetic incident at an upscale Dallas hotel. Belfour took some broad back to his room, probably hoping to get lucky. Before long, she decided the Belfour scene wasn't for her. Shocking. Soon after, hotel security was called in. Belfour grabbed the guard and put him in a headlock. When The Fuzz arrived, Belfour kicked two officers in the chest, before they maced him, and, as Roscoe P. Coltrain would say, "cuffed and stuffed" him. In the back seat of the police cruiser, a still drunk Belfour puked all over himself before spitting in one officer's face. Belfour then tried to bribe the cops, offering them $100 G and then $1 billion to let him go. GG... |
Belfour's a fucking goober, man. Mental case...Nyck just pointed that out and pwned yer ass. rolleyes:
They signed Hasek for $2mil, I think...pretty decent. At least now if his groin snaps like a rubber band, they won't be out a lot of coin. |
