Top 3 concerts I've seen:
1. Iron Maiden, July 17 1999, Bell Centre, Montreal 2. Metallica, October 7 2004, Corel Centre, Ottawa 3. Slipknot, August 18 2004, Corel Centre, Ottawa Holy sweet FUCK! Whatta friggin' deadly show! The sound, the lights, the pyrotechnics, and the fucking band were impeccable. They opened with "Blackened" and ramped up from there. They played "Frantic" and "St. Anger" from the latest record and the rest (for the most part) was old school Metallica. In no particular order (and I'm probably forgetting some): Blackened Fuel The Memory Remains Harvester of Sorrow Fight Fire With Fire Master of Puppets Sad But True Nothing Else Matters The Unforgiven Frantic St. Anger Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Kirk Solo Rob Solo (<-- amazing) Dyers Eve Creeping Death Wherever I May Roam Encore: One Enter Sandman The Prince (I lost my friggin mind when they played this) Seek & Destroy It was almost 3 hours of pure metal awesomeness. Oh, Godsmack were decent too... |
Seek & Destroy... i would love to that song live... glad you had fun man...
