meh i would prefer using what i learned in that tut, i think it give you a lot more control over what the planets look like, although in order to make it earth style you need to put a lot of work into detail and clouds and shit
everything that you see in what i made was done 100% by me and photoshop, with the exception of a custom texture i dled for the planet texture, which was also used in creating space dust |

Except that they match the nebula cloud too. HeadUp's are cities.

i tried doing that shit... after i put stars on backround i add planets...but if i select an area and put a planet.....it erases the stars oOo: how i fix?
