You may want to check Dark Tranquillity. They are a lot like old In Flames. Usually a bit harsher in the riffs and vocals, though.

Cloud Connected is the only song ive heard by them.

My fav song by In Flames is Cloud Connected, ive only heard about 3 of their songs though.

Its called Death Metal not because of the lyrics, but the riffs, drums.

NO. Metal like every other genre out there has subgenres based on sounds and not lyrical content.
