I'm not. She deserved what she got.

If you're a member of fucking parliament, you need to act in a manner becoming such a title. You're representing the COUNTRY, you stupid twat!

I hope she goes back to whatever bumfuck town she came from and opens a scrapbooking store...that fails.

don't you guys get it?... she got kicked out of the Liberal Party, but she is STILL an MP... now she is an independent, which means the Liberals have one less seat in thier minority government... she is gonna be more vocal now I bet... she is dumb...

Zoner 11-19-2004 09:20 AM

Oh, is that how it works? I thought she got the complete das boot.

Martin weirds me out... i didn't vote for him, and never will, in the 10 years i've been able to vote, I have only voted Liberal once, and that was as a protest, and Mike Harris won anyway, so fuck it, Orange for life...

Calling people idiots and the NUMEROUS things she has said doesn't help anything whatsoever. When you work for the Federal government, a certain amount of respect and dignity must be shown to get anywhere. This is a long time coming, and i'm glad she finally got sacked. We don't need people like that. Thats just my oppinion.

first off, what happens in the US does have alot to do with her, as we live so close together...

Yes, I do believe there is a line, and i do believe she crossed it when she stomped on a doll of Bush... I dont agre with that action... She can be as anti-bush in statements as she wants, as a member of the Liberal party it should be her job to be critical of conservative actions...

You are right that her actions are disrespectful and warrent punishment, but you say "We don't need people like that", but who is "we", because she is still an MP, just not a Liberal Mp anymore, so we're still stuck with her...

bottom line, I agree with her firing over the things she said about her fellow Liberals, she said they "can go to hell", thats just dumb, you can't get away with that at any job...

What happens in the US has to do with all of us. However, the point I was making was that she cannot change anything. She cannot vote in US elections, or run for a government position. What happens in the US happens, and she has to deal with it.

Her job isn't to be critical of conservative policies, but rather to represent the people of her riding. I just don't see how criticizing US policies gets her anywhere.

The Liberals don't need her in the cacus. All she does is bring negative attention with her actions within Canada and the US. "We" don't need her in Canadian politics at all, beacuse she is a loose cannon. We should be trying to work for solutions with the US, bot be calling their president names. When she does that, she represents the whole Canadian government. She should be smart enough to realize to keep her mouth shut. I guess she is so blinded by her hate, that she can't work on solutions.

I could see that happening, but I could see the same amount of cheers, since the conservative party is so big this time around.

Bloc + NDP + Liberal's = 220 + seats vs 99 conservative seats. (of which some old alliance members are not to fond of Bush).
