A VERY small part of it. Look at people in the 40s, you rarely ever seen a fat person. And with the rise of fast food and commercialism, obesity became a huge problem.

Its too easy to manipulate people into destroying their body. People are niave.

It could also have to do with the hormones that are injected into the food we eat. I only eat all natural foods to avoid anything that could harm my body.
Im 6 ft and 165

i do havea fast metabolism so i do eat alot of "junk food" but i also walk to and from school everyday, i ride my bike or walk to friends houses cause i can never get a ride. also i go to the gym, so all that keeps me busy and at a good wieght, even though im 6'1" and 150lbs... which is pretty skinny.

Anytime before the 50's really. Its not hard to see the relation between the rise of commercialism and the rise of obesity.

I believe genetics determines about 60% of the way you are. If you're born fat, that doesn't mean you can't become non-fat. eek: It just means that those born fat would have to work harder to become non-fat. eek:

Anyway, it's easy for all the 13-mid 20 year old guys here to say "go out and exercise", but really how much exercise do you do? Just wait until your metabolism changes and putting on weight suddenly becomes a lot easier.

I think its more of habit then hereditary, they pick up their parent's eating habits.

You know nothing about health. Trying a "Jared Like" diet is not going to make you fit into those size 32 jeans.

Yea pumping steroids and lifting weights is the only way to go.

It worked for jared, i on the other hand dont have to worry about genetics being fat in my family. If i get fat than its on me because i let myself get that way. But i cant see it happening being 5'10 150 lbs. oOo:
