Working at Blockbuster sucks in my town. You get min. wage $7.10 and long shifts.
In the summer I help run baseball camps. |
Working at hershey park was the worst
|
Subway for the 3 summers during my university years.
I hadda work nights all the time and the shop was close to the popular dance club. So, not only was I slinging subs for the public, it was a drunk public...at 4:00AM. Fuck me. I wanted to shit in the pickles on a nightly basis. |
Well Ive only held one job and that is as a lifeguard/instructor and it is basically my best and worst.
|
Worse job I ever had was right after I got out of the Marines I took a guard position at Wells Fargo. My 'beat' was a parking lot at the Claycomo Ford plant full of brand new 1977 Fords. 12 hour shifts with 3 time clocks that had to be punched once an hour. I lived about an hour away at the time. They kept asking me to work double shifts. Like 12 hours in one day wasn't enough.

Hahah, 4am? That's when the sobering assholes are coming out of the clubs/bars, still pissed as shit, angry, hungry and tired. Man, I would have hated a job like that. |

My worst one was back when I was wrangled into helping some guy paint machine sheds. I ended up doing all the work while the fucker would talk to the owners of the buildings. I was painting the roof of a real big one, one you could fit large farm macinery in. All of a sudden I lost my footing and slid on my ass all the way to the edge. My legs were hanging off and I was two inches from going off, if I fell I'd probably been killed.
So I quit right after that and I ended up only getting paid 20 bucks. Worst day ever. |
