The stocks are pretty much pointless. It was just to make it look neat.

I only played once at an indoor urban set up. Ran around with a glock paintball gun. It was alot of fun and i plan on doing more of that. Like someone else said, i too shot someone in the hand....they were hiding behind a door and stuck their hand out to shoot...i leaned into a door jam and returned fire hitting the guy in the hand.

I go every couple of weeks, and im thinking of buying a paintball gun (I usually borrow my friends or brothers).

One of my friends lives on a farm (they used to own cattle but they got rid of them), so now more than a fourth of their farm (and a barn) is squared off justfor paintball. They have around a dozen people over there every monday to play paintball. During last summer, I helped them dig a bunch of trenches and shit. It's fucking great.

If I start paintballing, it would be my goal to be better than most of the best, such as Chris LaSoya, http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/paintball-terrorists.htm (just read the first few paragraphs).

I've never been painballing loney:

Its not as popular in the UK, but some of my friends have been but it is pretty expensive. I dont know anyone that actually owns a paintball gun.

Miscguy 03-29-2005 06:19 AM

It is expensive. My Armo M4 retails for about 500, i received it for $230, and it was one of the first thousand to be sold in the US. My spyder cost about $160, then with upgrades, is probably right under $400. Mask was $80 the day they came out, luck stop at the shop for ammo that day. Air tank was $$$, c02 tanks arnt that expensive in 20oz. Gear belt all together was probably about $50.

All tolled i would estimate 1200 - 1400 spent on gear alone over about two years. Thats not counting money spent on field fee's, ammo, or air.
