I want the world to end in the most hilarious way possible.

like in The Hithhikers guide to the galaxy?

I doubt there will ever be a true end to mankind, but a nuclear war, followed by years if not decades of frantic warfare seems highly probable. And that one prophet dude, his name is eluding me, i know it but im forgetting it right now, anyway, he predicted the end of the world by 2012 i think.

Trip you forgot 1996, since Jesus was supposed to have been born in 4 BC. The universe revolves around our calender, you know.
As soon as more Muslims get nukes and start throwing them about I'm sure the world will take a turn for the worse. Personally I feel the Vatican needs several hundred ICBM silos for a good light show. |

Sun wont dye out. I think the earth is going to shift magnetic poles, and we'll come to another ice age. Sounds like a sack full of shit, but I asked my science teacher, who approved my theory, saying it happened once, its going to happen again. Hopefully not in my lifetime..and probably not.
Global warming, nuclear war. |
[quote="Sgt. Duffy":79a13]saying it happened once, its going to happen again. Hopefully not in my lifetime[/quote:79a13]lmao. it takes hundreds of years for the climate to make a drastic change like that. It just doesn't go to -4 degrees F all around the world over night.
EDIT: Unless there is some sort of HUGE volcanic erruption that blocks the sunlight. That would definately speed up the process. |
Average temps only need to fall by a few degrees in order to go into an ice age.
There have been theories that rising water levels as a result of melting glaciers could mess up the gulf stream, which delivers a lot of heat to Western Europe and North America. If the gulf stream were to stop delivering this warmth, you could be in for an unpleasant time. Anyway, an ice age isn't going to kill you. Our ancestors lived through the last one 10,000 years ago. It'll happen again. Personally I believe a major energy crisis will plague the western world within the next 15-30 years that will result in collapsing economies worldwide including the US which will end up scuttling the planet into war and an inevitable third world. Either that or the machines will turn against us. |
