I LOVE Stone Temple Pilots, was never a fan of Guns N Roses.....So Velvet didn't really catch my attention either.

Audioslave - You lucky fuck....I missed them when they came down here, I'm a HUGE Soundgarden/Cornell fan....Medicore RATM fan...

Remember to jack off wildly when they play Shadow Of The Sun....

GnR has always been my favorite band, so Velvet Revolver interested me from the start. Don't judge them just by their first CD, remember these are people from totally different backgrounds coming together and making music together. It's touch and go at first, I feel the best way to judge them is to see what they can do for their second album.

Their CD is pretty good, I would say I like half of the songs on the CD. It starts out generic, but by the 6th track it starts to pick up and doesn't let go. Saying you like only half of the songs on one cd may not say much, but by today's standards, where you get one good song and 11 fillers, it's pretty good.

And also, it's a band that is trying to bring back Rock and Roll, give em a chance.

Yes it was at Amherst, and I was trying to get Audioslave tickets as well. I have so many concerts to go to this year that I can't afford to keep buying tickets.

BTW, Velvet Revolver is playing the last 7 shows for Ozzfest. If you are going, check them out.
