More of a rehash than a remake?

I think he's gonna have a hard time replacing Wilder's version....I think that movie was the most interesting character/movie Wilder did in his career....(See no evil hear no evil was pwnage, too)....and I personally, still LOVE the original - great flick. (Boat scene was FUCKED).

Although I like Depp, and Burton as well, I have a weird feeling I won't like this one. We'll have to see.

You need creative, different and talented actors who can adapt to plenty of roles, unlike most of the lameness out there that keep things stale.
Creativity is good, without it we'd have XxX sequels, romantic comedies starring J-lo and teen high school horror films.....*pukes*

I think imagination should be rewarded, just like with games, I'd hate to see every game being a sequel like EA's sports games updates and predictable military shooters [ahem cept for BF2].
If you don't support them then they'll die out...

I like the new hair-do on Willy - it's got that creepy goth, yet woman-like look to it, unlike the blonde and friendly curly hair back in the original.

Roflmao, I just downloaded that - the movies got a little more hardcore edge, but not to the point of a scream-fest (It's PG after all) but it still looks incredibly creepy, witho those burning dolls...

I rented both of Burtons Batman movies because I missed when Batman was actually done right...

I like that Burton did this movie as well...don't see many others int his day doing it.
