Any new game modes this year? Like disconnect the life support machine keeping these aging fighters alive? Bust a hip mode? The geritol 5000 challenge? Even a new single player mode where you have to fight your way to the post office to collect your pension would be pretty neat, having to get across a busy road at a speed of 1 foot per second trying to dodge traffic with your zimmer frame. Could even have a "shout at the kids" mode where you spend all day looking out a window then totter to the door and start shaking your walking frame at them if their football lands in your front garden.

Could incorperate a kind of bonus stage where to continue playing you have to defribulate yourself to attempt to restart your heart which has just given out from the stress of walking up 2 stairs.

EXACTLY. All I ever do with him is kick, the only way to stop that with me is sidestepping or using Paul's fire punch which takes off half health. Is Tekken 5 like Tekken 3, or did they chnage the button combination so it isn't easy to pick up again? I played Tekken 3 for several months, and whenever I go back to play Tekken 3, Tekken Tag, or Tekken 4, it seems as if I never left and it gets boring cuz I always win.

Its a videogame, characters don't age.

You've obviously never played zelda, or any of the streetfighters where they visibly did look older.

Anyway, streetfighter > this shit any day of the week. sleeping:

I agree with you except for the Dynasty Warriors remark. The Soul Calibur/Edge saga is probably the most balanced and awesome fighting game out on the market.

Actually, one of the characters has aged since Tekken. Heihachi used to have black hair, and now he has white hair.

I doubt you would win all the time if you picked this game up. The ranking system makes it really easy at first, but as you move up several ranks, youhave to play more skilled opponents. The fighters for the most part stay the same, but their difficulty rises. In addition, you can still move up the difficulty yourself. So if you were playing on easy and had to face a 3rd Dan, it would be the same as playing it on medium and facing a 4th Kyu (lower rank) etc. I've only gotten Christie to a 1st Kyu so far, and it is already getting difficult against the 5th Dans.
