it takes years to develop a good embouchure.for an oboe. Probably the only things the oboe and a flute have in common are that they are both in concert pitch (c) and have the same fingerings.

oboes sound like complete shit if they arent played absolutely perfectly...plus im using school instruments so their oboes are complete shit....buying all these intruments on my own would be quite pricey
